A Craxford Coat of Arms
Craxford Coat of Arms

The Craxford family can trace its ancestry back to 1620 in the village of Gretton, Northamptonshire. Over time the branches have spread outwards from these rural East Midlands origins. We have now traced branches of the family around the country to Leicester, Birmingham, Warwickshire, London, South Wales, Lincolnshire and Tyneside, further afield to Australia and South Africa and recently over the Atlantic to the United States and Canada.

Within these pages is a fully searchable database of members of the Craxford family and other families who have become associated by marriage (over 9600 individuals). The magazine now has seven parts (each colour supplement featuring a different family line) managed by over a dozen associate editors, comprising more than 200 pages of articles, editorials and letters, over 1000 photographs and over 450 birth, marriage and death certificates and census studies.

Links to the latest three articles have been placed in the "Stop Press" on Page 1 of the Red Pages. Recently added people, families, photographs and documents can be accessed from the "What's New" menu on the same page. A more extensive list of the latest articles can be found on the first page of the Contents section.
