Wounded Mankind: Broadcast April 22nd 1945
Wounded Mankind: Broadcast April 22nd 1945
The program originates from San Francisco, where the United Nations Conference on International Organization is to open in three days. The program uses the phrase "wounded mankind," but there is no indication that it is the title of the broadcast, or that the script does have a title. Richard Atkinson says, "I don't think you have to worry about the Russians, they're desperately tired after 30 years of war." The princicpal voice is referred to as "Jack" several times, but is not further identified.
The segment which features an interview with P.H. Powell, reporter at The London Star, starts at about 09:00 minutes and lasts for three minutes
