- Parish of Staverton: Matthew Nosworthy of this Parish and Elizabeth Knight of this Parish, married by Banns and with parents consent, 14 January 1813. Matthew signed his name. Witnesses were Robert Nosworthy and Samuel Bowden (Clerk); Vicar John Lane Kitson.
(1) The witness, Robert Nosworthy, might have been Matthew's brother. "With consent of parents" would infer that Elizabeth was young; Matthew would have been about 30 years if we have the correct one.
