MC: Craxford, Harriet (1840) and Andrew Franks We have not been able to reconcile this marriage with that of Harriet Craxford and Frederick Mente (1843). The father of both is listed as William Craxford - victualler. The witnesses were Ann Craxford (probably her older sister) and John Hughes (the husband of another sister, Louisa Ann). This may be the first of two marriages for Harriet
