 | MC: Craxford, John (1799) and Frances Gill Although the evidence is circumstantial, we believe the named witness, William Craxford, to be his brother who had married Anne Easthop at the same church eight years earlier. They also shared the other witness, Nathaniel Harris. Interestingly the same archives show that a Nathaniel Harris married Sarah Gill at St Marylebone Church, Westminster on February 1st 1783. Again there is no other evidence to substantiate such a claim, but were Sarah and Frances Gill sisters?
If this is the case, it provides the link tying the "Craxfords of Hoxton" to the main family tree.
