2. Present day Cambrai and Canal du Nord


Places of interest mentioned in the text include Bourlon, Bourlon Wood, Raillencourt and Sailly. The line of the Canal du Nord runs north-south just west of the D15 road. Bourlon Wood is the dark area to the south east of the town.
