My connection is with the Anker family of Whittlesey with my 3 x gt grandparents being Charles Anker and Sophia Ashpool, I believe you may have contacted me about some photos of Anker graves that I posted on a site, if it is you I wanted to let you know I'm still looking for Abraham and Mary's and if I find them I will let you know, best wishes

I have discovered your website and it is extremely interesting to me. My late husband's grandmother (and therefore my childrens' great grandmother) was Sarah Louisa Tilley. I have only recently discovered her maiden name and that is why I hadn't found you before. I remember her well. She lived into her 90s in the village of Wilbarston. The second name of one of her sons was Ypres. (I can't remember whether his first name was Charles or Francis). His second name was given to him in memory of his uncle who was killed in WW1. I was led to believe that this was one of Sarah's brothers but I don't know which one. I don't know if you have come across this story.
Regards, Wendy Mead

Great site. I live in Manitoba, not too far away from Camp Sewell (Hughes) and plan to visit sometime in the near future. Kudos to all who worked on this website.

This web site is amazing. Seems I stem from Richard Craxford (born 1619). My grandfather, Albert Oswald moved to then Rhodesia, but sadly died from a heart attack in London whilst on holiday in 1972. Well done Alan on this amazing site.

My Grandfather was Charles Ozmond who ran the Britannia Pub and theatre in 1910. I'm not sure when his tenancy started and finished but my Father was born there in July 1910.

I found this site by accident and I am hoping if I search enough I might be able to find a contact email address for Ken Nesworthy. From my research I believe he may be married to one of my nieces, Lesley Barker who I would dearly love to make contact with as I have not seen her, or her sister Alison since about 1965. If someone can pass this on the Ken I would be most grateful.

Hello, my name is Ann Arrow..nee Claypole.
I came across this site by accident but so glad i did. My Grandfather was Frederick William Claypole and my Grandmother was Maud Ellen Craythorne. My Father, their son was Harold Frederick Claypole and his twin sister was Elizabeth (known as Bess). I saw Dad's siblings mentioned here...Leslie and Joyce (twins) and Muriel. Also there was Ernest and Olive is living in Southern Ireland.
Thankyou for making this site so interesting, i have enjoyed reading about my family.
Yours Ann Arrow.
29th August 2010.
