Great website! The level of detail is very impressive. It's been very helplful to me as I prepared my TNG genealogy site, which I just launched.
I'm curious as a fellow genealogist how many hours you estimate you've put into genealogy over the years.
All the best,

I have the Will of my 2nd great grandmother Elizabeth Anderson, wife of John Bennett McKenzie. Interestingly it was witnessed by Margaret Jane Nessworthy of 28 Shorebridge Street. I found an 1872 marriage between Margaret and a chap James Ridley Nessworthy. I was surprised to see that Margaret's maiden name was also Anderson and I wondered if she could be my 2nd great grandmother's sister. That's when I came across your website which has reference to James Ridley Nessworthy.
Regards, Owen

Hi,
I spent hours looking through your website completely engrossed. I've been doing my family tree for quite some years now and I am the great grandson of William Liquorish and Lucy Craxford. Of my four grandparents I'm back to 1570,1801,1674 and 1736. I also followed another line to 1820 because one set of great grandparents weren't married.
Great site thanks I matched up quite a lot of names.

I am the Granddaughter of Agnes May Armstrong, of Carlton, Nottingham, whose own Grandmother was Jane Craxford. I can see some of that side of the family are already members on this website, may I also join, please?
[Unfortunately as we said to Deborah below, not at present, I'm afraid]

Hi, I think the Joseph Beadsworth you have being born in Leicester in 1841 is not Anthony Beesworths son but Anthony's brother ISAAC'S son. Also, I believe that William Beesworth born abt 1750 in Drayton is William Beardsworth b 1770 in Uppingham. He's the first Beard/ Bees/ Beadsworth i can find marrying into the Welland Valley. His cousin married a girl from Middleton as well but she moved to Uppingham. I've got back as far as Edward Beardsworth in Uppingham in abt 1650. My mother was born a Beadsworth in Northampton, cheers
[I had the place of his birth incorrect - now put right. Should have been Kettering - Ed]

Your website is amazing and although I cannot see a direct connection to your family yet, I live in South Normanton and am the grand daughter of Beryl Haywood (1887-1966) from South Normanton. This line continues back via her father Edward (1863-1902), his father Edward (1825-1905) and his father Francis (1801-c1866) who married a Jane Cresswell.

Hi,
I have been researching my family tree on and off for some time now and with the lockdown I have focussed on updating it. My connection is through my mother Lillian Palethorpe who was the fourth of five children to Harry and Mary Ellen Palethorpe. She married Frank Scott, a coal miner and I was born in Pinxton. This site has cleared up a problem we had with Harriett Palethorpe as to her maiden name. (there are far too many Richard Palethorpes in the area!) The reason for this initial contact is that there is a picture of my grandfather Harry on his page which I have not seen and of my great grandmother Martha. Is it possible to get access to open this picture, please? We do have some other family connections which could be passed on if they are of any interest.
Kind Regards
Sue Cabrelli (and Mark)

My aunt, Edith (Edie) Smith ran a wet fish shop in Cottingham in the 1950s. Do you have any information on the shop and/or my aunt? She was unmarried, born about 1915.
[After discussion with David, this reference was to Cottingham, a village in East Yorkshire, not the one in Northamptonshire. The two villages are often confused particularly by people who are not resident in either! - Ed]

I believe you have an error on your Red page for John Nosworthy born 1808. You have his death in Carleton Place. He dies in Thomasford on 18 Oct 1865. I believe you picked up the wrong location due to an error on my Ancestry tree for Cram family.
I am Christopher Ashby great grandson for John Wesley Norsworthy born 1860
[Will make correction in due course. Thank you - ED]
