The two Beadsworths in the Australian Water Polo teams are our relatives: they are the grandchildren of my Great Uncle Joseph who emigrated. Also, there was an olympic sailor by the name of Beadsworth who is also a relative of ours.

Had many happy memories in Airlie Hall 65-69 but I was a pure scientist. Incidentally was also the librarian of Airlie Hall but only remember 2 stories on the corner with the library on the top floor - also with a grandfather clock - Enjoyed 3 years in the Hall and still have copies of TAMP magazine to which I also contributed! My husband's greatgrandfather is Charles SIMMONDS born 23rd March 1856, in Lower Alstone, Cheltenham, brother of your Thomas. I have Charles' certified birth certificate. Their parents are Thomas Simmonds (Signalman) and Alice Cole (Dressmaker/Milliner) They are listed on the 1851 and 1861 Census with mother in law living next door but two in 1851 and with them in in 1861. Hope this information helps.

Congratulations on such a wonderful site! I was delighted to find my Great Great Grandfather, David Fletcher Sansome, on the extended family tree and find additional details about his wife Elizabeth Ann Crane and her family.

David Fletcher Sansome and his wife Elizabeth emigrated to Australia about 1872. Initially they lived in Victoria and later moved to Adelaide, South Australia.

They had other children, including my Great Grandfather, William Fletcher Sansome (b.1873 Emerald Hill (now known as South Melbourne), Victoria d.1962 Adelaide, South Australia) and a daughter Mary Louise Sansome.

I only recently found out the name of my GG Grandfather, despite the coincidence in having the same first name. David Fletcher Sansome(born about 1845) and his wife remain somewhat elusive. I have not yet found when and where they died. Possibly they may have returned to Britain.

I am the great great grand daughter of Thomas and Alice Simmonds and can give you more information on their descendants if you like!

Hi my mothers name is Olive Claypole, her parents were Frederick Claypole and Ellen Maude Craythorne, Great Easton. She celebrated her 96th birthday on the 26th January 2012. She was born in 1916 and married Michael Fitzgerald, in Great Easton on 15th October 1938. She has been living in Cork Ireland since 1953 and has seven children, twenty-six grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.

Grandma Louie (Sarah-Louisa Smith) was my great grandmother (Frank George Harrington being my grandad) - this site is amazing!!
